Refund policy

Should you need to cancel your plan, and do so within 30 days from the date of purchase, you will be entitled to a full refund of any monies paid to us in respect of your funeral.

Should you need to cancel your plan, and do so outside of the 30 day cooling-off period provided by Trust Funeral Plans, you will be entitled to a refund of any monies paid to us in respect of your funeral, less our cancellation charge of £387.

If your policy is cancelled by Trust, any payments made by you will be refunded. If more than 30 days have elapsed since the plan’s purchase date, a cancellation charge of £387 will be applied.

Refunds of policies after the death of a beneficiary are not provided if the plan is cancelled by a plan holder’s Next of Kin/representative. This is at Trust’s discretion.

If your funeral plan is cancelled by either you or Trust, you may be eligible to receive a sum as a refund of monies paid. Please refer to How Do I Cancel My Plan? For more information on our cancellation fee and procedure.

Please note that any mentions of an allowance increasing with CPI are specifically for cases in which the funeral takes place through Trust Funeral Plans. In any instance where your plan is cancelled or isn’t utilised, you will not receive any amount of CPI in any monies due to you in the form of a refund.
